I have been caught in a snowstorm and my awd Subaru Forester handled terribly, I slid right past the entrance to a gas station.

We shopped around for a while for a used car and were super comfort with this dealership. Used car reps were fair, no pressuring, and listened to our needs, which wasn't our experience from the many other dealerships we went to.

We came to Quality Subaru to find a replacement for our 11 year old Saturn Vue. We believed the Forester would be a potential match in size and handling, so we wanted a test-drive. Our sales consultant, Brendan Murphy, who admitted he was very new to the firm and the business, was outstanding. Brendan has a wealth of knowledge about the features and performance of the cars he is selling. He has an easy-going way that is customer-centric. At no time did we feel pressured in any way to make a decision. We ended up trading in two vehicles for two Foresters! Being new, Brendan seemed to have a few people watching over his shoulder...and they were all very friendly and professional as well. The entire operation at Quality Subaru seems solid, like they are family. We also love their donation program and were happy to help support the Connecticut Humane Society.

A perfect car buying experience. From introduction to closing the deal, I felt like I bought a car from a friend...not a dealership. Mike P. in sales and manager Mike W. were amazing. I never felt like I was a number or just a sale. I negotiated a fair deal and was treated with respect. I have never written a review for a car dealer but I had to spread the word about how well I was treated. A++..nice job!

I called and had to argue with 3 different people at Subaru Wallingford until they finally agreed to change the tires.

We are very happy with our new Foresters, and would highly recommend Brendan and his team to anyone interested in purchasing or leasing a car!

I feel they carelessly took mine and my child’s lives in their hands, are irresponsible, and cannot be trusted to make decisions with their interest in saving money.

I went to subaru in Milford and was told the tires were very dangerous and should be changed immediately. I measured the tires and they were closer to 2/32 on the front.

I wish I had more than 5 stars to choose from. Chris Carey was the epitome of professionalism. From the start he made me feel at ease. My car decided to stop working and at the most inopportune time, one month after I had just purchased my first home. Chris knew my concerns and worked his magic to get me in the car I said I would always purchase when the time was right. He was able to fit me in a car he had on the lot. It was everything I wanted including the color. Along with the manager, Mark Ward, I was able to drive away in a 2018 Subaru Forester, in what I like to call St. Jude green and still be able to sleep at night knowing I had purchased a great care for a great deal. My advice to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru is first, go to Quality Subaru in Wallingford and second, make sure Chris Carey is the one that puts you in the driver's seat. I did and I have enjoyed the ride ever since.

Don’t trust this dealership...

I bought my car with the ‘free tires for life’ deal. I went to every service to keep the deal valid. At 47K miles my tires were visibly bald and they measured them at 4/32. In October I was 9mo pregnant and wanted to go into the winter with good tires. They refused to change them to honor the deal stating 4/32 was safe to drive on but they would change the tires in April no matter the measurement.

I am disappointed the remote start does not work properly and they aren't willing to fix it, informing it was an after market one they don't support, and then reporting it's not intended for manual transmission, though I left the instructions direct from the manufacturer about manual setup for them. It shouldn't have been a selling point, then not supported immediately after buying. Bitter to buy something and have to replace a feature the dealer sold you on.

We did have some things that needed to be fixed after buying which a test drive hadn't clued us in on, but they fixed without question, gave a loaner for free, and were friendly in service.
