This is a great place to have car worked on. Being new to the area I was referred here by a friend. I find the owner to be honest, and knowing nothing about cars at all, I appreciate the patience the staff takes in explaining issues with the car and possible solutions, plus being upfront and fair with pricing. I appreciate the Loyalty Rewards program and love earning points to get the certificates for money off of future services. Will return and I always recommend people to come here.
I'm new to the Wallingford area, and have been looking for a potential service center to service my car in case of an emergency. I came across SAF-T Auto Center on Yelp while looking for a place to get an oil change. I must say the reviews were correct. Neil and his staff are very personable, extremely knowledgeable, experienced, honest and on point. They explained everything in precise detail as well as pricing. They took care of my automotive needs, they do not pressure you in any way nor do they attempt to up-sell. Their inspection process is thorough and on point! I highly recommend them! BTW...They have great coffee too!
Saf-T Auto is the service center you want to visit to get your car fixed right the first time. Their courtesy check makes sure your car is safe from end to end. Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I have referred my brothers and neighbors to Saf-T Auto and they are getting their vehicles serviced there as well. I own 4 vehicles and have each one serviced there with complete confidence that the job is done right.
Very fast, accurate, and friendly. They always take time to call and to explain exactly what is wrong so that you can make the most informed judgment. I think I took a car there for work about 6 years ago (maybe longer?) and I have not gone to another shop since. They are great at what they do and take pride in every little detail. They don't tell you that your car will be done by 5 and it isn't. You rarely find this kind of customer service anywhere. They are a treasure. I cannot recommend them more.
Finding a place to fix your car can be tricky - especially when you’re new to an area. I started experiencing problems with my car right after I moved to Wallingford. After a horrible experience with one auto shop, I decided to try this place out after reading all the great reviews. I could tell from the initial phone call that I was in good hands. The whole experience was pleasant - my car was fixed in a timely manner and I didn’t feel like I was being squeezed for ever dollar I had. I am definitely coming back here in the future!
