Stopped in for an oil change. Was served quickly. Appreciated the gentleman at the counter and the tech who changed my oil.

I had bought a car off Cargurus inline and it was delivered to my house in a dangerous, undriveable condition from Dallas Texas. I was hurt that a dealership would take advantage of a honorably discharged veteran the way Auto net of Dallas did. In stepped Meinike with Mike the service manager leading the way. They fixed my car of some really major issues and worked with me on prices as well. Mike even stayed over because I needed to get a ride to come pick my car up and he had stuff to do! I can't say enough about these guys including the owner and all the guys in the shop are just fantastic. Will be taking my car back there for a paint job in a few days and get a couple of dents out because I trust their judgent, knowledge and work.

My girlfriend JUST went to talk about about an issue with her exhaust. She was referred there by her mechanic. They told her what the problem was and provided an estimate. Suddenly she also had a radiator problem that HAD to be fixed. She leaves so she can take it to her mechanic to look at and ended up smoking on the way out. She had to turn around and drop off the car to get it repaired. I get the call from her after this was all done. I drove that car earlier in the day without any issues. I know some of the problems but no where noticed over heating or low coolant. This is insane. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that there was a legitimate issue that just went to the worst case scenario as she drove out of the parking lot BUT it sounds like BS to me. I had to vent. This is a true story. I am going to stay out of it because she wants me to not worry about it. I will respect her decision but after reading the other reviews here there has to be something going on over there. BE CAREFUL!

So don't go here. They'll just screw you over.

It's just funny to me that every time I go in for something as simple as an oil change something bigger ends up happening. Last week it was "your transmission pan has a hole in it and there's no fluid it leaked out everywhere it'll be $200 to fix". That's weird cause there's no indication on my parking spot where something has leaked, it hasn't been shifting any different.

Went for new front brakes, "oh the whole braking system is bad you'll need new drums and rotors and calipers it'll be $900."

The next month I go to change the oil and have the tires rotated and they say "your brakes are cutting into the calipers we'll need to fix that it'll be $200." So I proceed to inform him that not even a month ago they did a complete brake job so if it's messed up they need to fix it. "Oh you're right we did well we'll fix it for free." Damn right you will. They didn't realize cause normally it's my fiance that takes the car and uses her number but this particular time I used my number so they didn't realize I had been here before. There were many more problems but it's too long to list.

We took our vehicle for a routine oil change on 11/13/17. After the oil change was completed and a few hours later, we noticed our "check engine" light activated. The other issue we noticed was that after the vehicle was off, the engine fan stayed on for several minutes. This has never happened since we had the vehicle. Due to these reasons, we took our vehicle to the GMC dealership. The dealership found the following reason for the two issues we had; the mass air flow sensor was unplugged due to the previous oil change and they forgot to plug it back in. This basic diagnostic check cost us $143.70, which was due to this Meineke's actions. My wife then contacted the store manager and met him in person. My wife showed him the paperwork from the dealership, which clearly outlined the reason for our vehicles issues. The manager advised my wife that he was going to contact the owner (R. Dumond). The manager also provided my wife with Dumond's phone number. After waiting a day and receiving no response, my wife contacted Dumond and informed him about the incident. His response was, "No one ever told me anything." He then repeatedly asked my wife as to why we did not bring the car to them. After going back and forth, Dumond told my wife that he was going to talk to his guys and call her back. Well, he did not. Now he won't answer the phone. We have been taking our vehicle to this location for oil changes for the past four years. After this incident, we will never bring any one of our vehicles to this Meineke. This unprofessional behavior will be told to others and hopefully others will not have to deal with this. We should have read the posts from the customers. I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HERE.
