I booked this hotel almost two months in advance for a friends wedding. So did many of the guests that had attended. The week before I called to request early check in since I would be traveling very far and wanted time to relax and get ready before the wedding. I was told it was in my account and to call the morning of. The morning of I called and was told I was given a room number and just to arrive and say I had one. Once I had arrived, I was told my room was given away and that I had to wait on wait list. It was 2pm and room service was still cleaning the rooms. We were told that at 3pm they would be able to start checking people in. We did not get into our room until almost 4 when we had a 4:30 shuttle, which we missed and had to uber to the wedding. They only had two people working the front desk, one of which did really know what he was doing and constantly needed the other person's help. The hotel was not staffed to handle the three wedding parties that were booked months in advance. The bar was closed. There was no one to help with luggage. None of us were offered anything and did not receive any discounts on a room. I would not stay here ever again, for the amount we paid, it was just a horrific ordeal.
The restaurant really surprised me. Very few hotel restaurant in this class of hotel have specials daily, let alone really good ones! Every meal I had was great!
I guess I'm used to staying in Hilton Hampton Inns too much. It's a nice hotel and the service is always good, but it's not logical to pay more for less. Coffee isn't available in the lobby here past 10am. The cable goes out with any passing shower, causing you to miss most of whatever you're watching, which is very annoying. For such a nice place, they can't modernize to an uninterrupted feed? None of the food is complimentary side from cookies for an hour or two in the afternoon. If none of that bothers you then it's a great place to stay!
Hotel is beatiful and the staff is great. They have a good breakfast, but if you order something from the grill it sometimes takes forever....over 20 minutes. Decent bar for drinks at night. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of movie channels available to watch on TV. Pool area looked nice and their is a big banquet hall. Parking was easy and the hotel is located right off the highway.
The suite rooms are very nice. The property overall is maintained well. Nice setup. Feels new.
Hotel was lovely, but could have used a cart or folding table in our HC-accessible room for room service. Would have probably given it higher marks if we had time to try breakfast and lunch there. Easy access to I-91. Beautiful lobby. Will definitely stay there again.
