I have been getting haircut form Ashley for a few years so far and never been disappointed. She handles every appointment with care and attention to detail, listens to what you need and gives an ideas with professionalism. Great man's haircut. As a returning customer, if you are looking for a best stylist around, that is the person to go!
I wish I could review hair and make-up separately; but here is the breakdown:
o Hair- They mostly did a great job on my bridal party. Only two of the girls’ hair styles were a little off. And I loved my hair! It was exactly what I had pictured and it stayed pretty good throughout the night.
o Overall- Fine for hair, but bring a ton of pictures! I had to keep referring back to the pictures and having her change my hair to what I wanted, but it came out great. Awful for makeup!!!!! Unless you want to look cheap with caked on make-up and uneven runny eyeliner do not use!
o Make-up- Awful! I wish I had saved the money and done it myself from the start. It looked nothing like any of the pictures provided and it kept running because they used cheap make-up or applied it wrong, not even sure which. My Mom’s make-up was very bad too, the color was too dark and the eyeliner was crazy. When I told the lady to fix my Mom’s eyeliner and wing it out or something she said, “We can’t do that on her. It wouldn’t look good on her face.” Keep in mind I’m the bride and I know what I wanted, and when I do her make-up I do fun things like the retro-wing eyeliner and she looks gorgeous with it. Just Rude! We got out way later then the time promised, because we waited for a while for some of the people to be done with other clients. And since the make-up was SO bad, me and my Aunt actually had to spend 20 minutes at the venue fixing my make-up. We ran so behind between getting out of the salon late and having to fix the make-up that I didn’t have time to take most of the pre-ceremony pictures I had wanted.
Will not be going back!!! My best friend recently got married and this is the salon she chose for us to have our hair and makeup done. The hair stylist offered to hang up my North Face, so I let her and then I ended up forgetting it there (which was my fault). About a half hour later I had just gotten home and realized that I had forgot my jacket so I called the salon and was told to come anytime and pick it up. I obviously couldn’t go back that day because we had a wedding to get to! I went in a couple days later and my jacket was not there. I tried calling 4 times to speak to the manager about where my jacket could have possibly went and every time she was not there but “would call me back”- never heard back. Horrible customer service! Oh and to top everything off my up-do hair style was falling out before the reception even started! So I paid a bunch of money to have my hair and makeup done there and now I am also out a North Face jacket.
