Every time I need to go there either to speak with an officer for help or the records division everyone is extremely friendly. I don't get why people give police so much grief. They have a tough job and still act courteously. I recently applied for my pistol permit and they told me that it could take up to 12 weeks because a lot of people have been applying. They advised me to call in 7 to 8 weeks for an update. I called 7 weeks and they gave me an update and 2 days later they received the fingerprints back and called me personally to tell me they were back and they will mail me the permit. I think that was amazing that they took their time to say thanks for calling and they are in.
I called about ward street intersection and they did nothing about this. 99% of the people that drive down this road do not stop at the stop sign they just blow right threw it. it really scary specialy when I have kids that play at the part across the street. they really need to do something about this asap. I almost got rear ended because the person behind me wasn't going to stop
My first visit to Wallingford was to eat sonic. And as I’m biting into my food 3 cops pull up female was very aggressive. They were rude and made me feel unsafe. I thought the female cop was going to shoot my cousin, my fiancé and myself for not putting putting our food down as quickly as she wanted us to. Someone reported we had a gun, At the end of the commotion and car searching they found nothing and the worst part is, they didn’t even apologize for coming aggressively hand cuffing screaming yelling. I know you have protocols to follow, but I’m sure there a way of doing it. Thanks Wallingford police, I’ll never go there again.
