Our 12 year old has bipolar disorder. Since he was a young boy he has struggled with hypersensitivity, accepting limits, and anger, often so out of proportion to the circumstance that provoked him, that we were afraid he might hurt himself. Since seeing Dr. Reiss, he is better able to tolerate dissapointments, and the demands of school, his siblings and peers. He now articulate's his feelings and is actually able to calm himself down (a huge step for him). He appears more comfortable and less restless. We feel he has turned a corner. He has always been an excellent student and an especially perceptive child. We are painfully proud of him and are thankful to Dr. Reiss for all his help.
